when apt-get fails..

* What you can do when Debian’s rock solid ‘apt-get’ fails? I have always tried to find the answer in the past. With this article on Linux.com you can deal it with better. Well, when you using ‘Synaptic’ and you have broken package in your system, simply filter for Broken package and let synaptic do the job! or when you using command line, just do: apt-get -f install or apt-get -f remove

But, this is not always works. Sometimes you got trcky situations, where apt-get is telling you to reinstall the broken package and if you try to install it, it says you need to remove it or package is in bad situation! Well, using dpkg with –force option can solve the problem many times too.
